1958 St. Clair Eighth
Grade Graduation

According to Ann, this was the last eighth
grade class to have a graduation ceremony and party. The following year,
there was no graduation or party, but the class did get to go to Jefferson
City. Ann graduated in 1958 and her sister graduated in 1959. Therefore,
this is the LAST 8th grade graduating class.
Ann mentioned that several in her class
are now deceased, including Mary Jane Smith, Wayne Schupp, Loise Hawkins,
Paul Ellison, and Marshall Lewis, as well as the three faculty members in
the photograph.
Fortunately, Ann wrote the names of the
students on the back of her copy of the photograph. Here they are:
